About this notice
Who this policy covers
This notice covers the Loving Acts of Kindness website, including the 7 Day Kindness Guide sign-up, occasional email updates, and the unsubscribe page. The site is operated by James Otto Gray Inc. in Salem, Oregon, USA.
It describes the information requested by those forms, the website's current contact and email processes, browser storage used for guide access, and the visible services that support the site.
01 / Information
Information we collect
When you request the 7 Day Kindness Guide or join the update list, the form asks for your first name and email address. The site sends those details to its contact service.
The unsubscribe page asks for the email address associated with your subscription so the site can locate and update the matching contact record.
The site also records signup and unsubscribe events through Buildy's contact and event services. These records help identify that a signup or unsubscribe action took place.
When your browser requests a page, font, image, or video, the service providing that resource may receive technical information needed to respond to the request. The service section below describes the providers visible in the site setup.
02 / Use
How information is used
The site uses the name and email address from a guide sign-up to deliver the guide and send the occasional Loving Acts of Kindness updates described beside the form. Contact and event records are used to manage the sign-up and unsubscribe process.
The guide is sent by email through services provided with the Buildy platform. The site does not use the guide-access marker described below to send email.
03 / Email choices
Email and unsubscribe
To request that updates stop, use the unsubscribe link in an email or visit the unsubscribe page and enter the email address you used to sign up.
The website's unsubscribe form marks the matching contact as unsubscribed and records an unsubscribe event. This changes the contact's status in the site's records. It does not delete the existing contact record.
04 / On your device
Browser storage
After a successful sign-up, the site saves a simple access marker in your browser's local storage. The guide page reads that marker to remember guide access in that browser. The marker does not contain your name or email address.
The site does not set an expiration date for this marker. Your browser settings or clearing stored site data may remove it. It is a guide-access marker, not an advertising cookie.
05 / Site services
Services and embedded content
The site uses Buildy to manage contact records and send the guide email. It loads Google Fonts, images hosted with Supabase, and YouTube videos as resources on its pages.
When your browser requests these services or resources, the provider may receive technical information needed to deliver them. Each provider has its own privacy practices; consult its current privacy information for details.
06 / Records and contact
Retention and privacy requests
When you unsubscribe, the site changes the contact's status to unsubscribed but does not erase the contact record. The app currently sets no fixed deletion schedule for signup, unsubscribe, or event records. Service providers may also apply their own retention rules.
We will review privacy requests under applicable law. For a privacy question, or to request access to, correction of, or deletion of information you provided through this site, write to:
